Research Interests

I'm interested in several topics related to tonality perception, musical expectation, improvisation, and musical emotion perception.  Recent work has treated the perception of musical speed, and the effect of voice multiplicity on the perception of musical emotion.  I am also keen on the algorithmic extraction of musical features.
